The Service

 Unsigned Monthly is a monthly compilation CD of unsigned and independent music.  This is a new service, but the goal is to become big enough to help shape the future of the changing music business. 

We are really trying to create a quality service here.  Here are some features we plan as we roll the service out.

 -          Each month you will receive a CD featuring
       5 bands with 2 tracks for each band

 -          The liner notes will have information about the 
       bands and how you can keep in touch if you like
       their music

 -          A message board where people can talk about
       which bands they loved on the last CD

 -          Bands won’t be announced until the CD ships so
       that customers are the first to know

 -          Past compilations will be listed on the site so
       people can check out other good music

 -          The content of each CD will vary.  Mostly
       Singer/Songwriter type stuff, but the beauty of a
       compilation is that good music from other genres
       can be mixed in easily. 

 -          Right now the bands will get compensated the
       same rate they would get from I-tunes if they sold
       two songs per disc, but we hope to be able to
       increase that depending on the success of the
       idea. 

 -          All of this will be $7.99 a month or 79.99 a year. 
       It is a great service because it helps you stay
       current in the music scene and is a great gift for
       musicians or music fans.

 The Cancellation Policy

 We’re not trying to trick anyone into buying bad music.  If you are unhappy with the service we make it easier to cancel than it was to sign up.  There are no contracts, and if you buy a full year upfront we don’t automatically re-charge your account after a year.  We will send an e-mail asking if you would like to sign up again.

 The Schedule

 We do press the CD’s ourselves so the schedule works like this:  If you are signed up by the first of the month your name will go on that month’s list and you will be billed.  The CD’s will then be pressed and mailed by 20^th of the month.  Then the cycle continues.  If you sign up soon after the first of the month it may seem like a while before you get your first CD, but have faith, you will soon have great unsigned music at your fingertips.
